It’s really all about having a way to get past encryption so they can spy on everyone indiscriminately. It’s pushed that it’s to save kids and unmask pedos, but the people in charge know the pedophiles are their rich donors.
It’s about controlling opposition and making sure the wealthy can stay on top. Imagine if no small business can hide their information from their competitors.

I have spent over 30 years doing IT work, so figuring out another OS won’t be too hard since I’ve worked through almost everything starting in the 90’s.
Sorry I’m late, but I would say that that case means a system should have rules to define when and where the majority of the files are at. Or at least a defined way to declare which system is one-way, and which is two-way.
The old Google Calendar system had that flag, so I find it strange that Apple wouldn’t, unless they really want to push the iCloud data Subscription model.
I think the issue comes that it only syncs messages one way and doesn’t sync on deletions. Apple should have messages that are removed from all devices when removed from the phone, but it didn’t remove messages when deleted.
Sure the guy is a moron for being a cheater and scumbag, but Apple should remove deleted messages. That’s a privacy problem with Apple’s sync. I don’t use Apple devices due to other Apple crap, but setting up iCloud sync should have a warning when items won’t be deleted and only will be downloaded to devices.

Yep, I will switch to Linux before I get another OS from Microsoft. Once 10 goes away, I jump onto a Linux distribution and use Proton.
I was hoping for a Steam Created distribution to come out, but I’ve been waiting for that for years. I’m just too lazy to switch over before I have to.
As much as I want “Jarvis” OS system, I really don’t want the version made by Microsoft, Google, or, Apple.

You can redact a lot without losing the focus of what is found in a report of this magnitude. It happens a lot in many businesses that had investigations.
If they don’t have the skill to write that, then why are they a media company to begin with?

This note sounds more to the point that Linus didn’t know anything of what happened, so nothing was wrong. Lastly, they said that they would have a report for us after the investigation was done. Without putting the report out, they can’t hope to put this all behind them. There will always be a shadow order them still. Also, saying that they don’t have to publish a report because they are a private company will only let more people think they are hiding something.
The investigation was to show they weren’t hiding anything, and without a report showing the allegations were false they haven’t done anything.
I never said it was my right. I said that if they want people to believe them, they will need to show the report.
If not, I treat them as I would any other money first company with a clueless owner. I probably won’t be the only one turned off.
There is no report, just a statement that is poorly written yet again. A few paragraphs on X written by them isn’t a report refuting the allegations. It’s another “Trust me Bro” statement.

My guess is that repair costs are higher because they have to be sent out for expensive repairs because the car software is locked down so they cannot repair them in-house.

You only really need to open the Star Map when landing/scanning a planet.
If you are in the cockpit screen just open up the scanner and select Star systems from there and hold the travel key to start your warp.
Like previous BGS games, you can navigate in menu’s or in the world.
