Damn he almost had a shot to gain votes there but then he blew it.

After watching it…I don’t think you so .
The funny thing was 1.44mb is probably enough to store a really really long list of names and codenames so…they could have used a normal floppy disk lol.
Where are floppies used in the US government? Old mainframes are all over the place but where are floppies?
Japan just got an acute case of what a lot of western governments have - IT early adopter disease. These old systems were built using (at the time) revolutionary technology that was designed without much thought given to modularity or sun-setting.
This shit belongs in your diary dude.
Western countries employing Indian coders are generally looking for the cheapest coders they can find who speak passable English. All of that sounds like you got what you paid for.
It could be argued that such delayed trade should be encouraged. Let Apple’s debt to Kaspersky build up, with interest, but it’ll only be paid once sanctions end which will only happen once pre-determined conditions are met. It’s basically an increasing incentive to change course in a way that will result in sanctions being lifted.
There are probably some pretty severe downsides to this approach though.
Size really does matter for sites like this. Reddit still hosts many smaller subs for niche topics that often have limited toxicity. Lemmy can’t match it yet unfortunately.
Features like this can almost never be privacy-friendly because they’re developed expressly to violate your privacy. The value it provides you , as cool as that could be, is just how it’s sold.
Not storing this shit unencrypted was pretty fucking obvious dude.
Damn you guys borrowing consonants from polish names now?
I agree, and also the 1984 David Lynch Dune movie was the pinnacle of film making.
If you don’t know much about investing then you shouldn’t short anything ever. People who know about investing will tell you that even when your logic is 100 percent sound, the market isn’t that predictable and in general the market can stay irrational longer than you can stay solvent.
Indeed, when you experience the public transportation system in the 1st World EU countries and Japan, the USA is decades behind them.
I think thinking of it this way only makes sense if commitment and desire to create good public transportation is somewhat comparable - which it’s not. In the US (and a lot of Canada) there simply isn’t any desire to properly invest in public transit. When public transit projects fail and a government is held accountable at the ballot box, the following government just slashes everything and washes their hands of it instead of trying to fix things. They’re not behind in time, they’re behind in commitment.
He’s the Ryan Lochte of whatever it is he does. Except I guess Lochte was good at something.
Well that’s less fun than detcord or mission impossible style self-immolating electronics.
I know what this is and I refuse to be traumatized by it again .
Idk about the franchise but it’s an excellent movie.
This guy eats a sandwich with a facial expression that indicates that he plans to beat his Butler for making it wrong.
